Knjiga Joga za zdravlje i lepotu – Asana i Pranajama je deo serijala knjiga velikog učitelja – Yogacharye Jadranka Mikleca. Pored kniiga Yama – moralna načela, Nijama – životna načela i Transcendentalna meditacija, knjiga Asana i pranajama zaokružuje celinu osam udova joge koje je Mahariši Patanđali opisao u svojim Joga Sutrama. Ovim serijalom Jadranko je, kroz svoje iskustvo i spoznaje, dao svoj pečat i ostavio neprocenjivi materijal budućim generacijama tragalaca za istinom i znanjem kroz put Joge.

Jadranko Miklec je jedan od najvećih učitelja Joge našeg vremena, i to ne samo u našem regionu. Učeći od njega i sarađujući sa njim u prethodnih desetak godina uvideo sam da su reči koje izgovara i piše u potpunom saglasju sa delima i načinom života koji vodi, a to je i osnovni preduslov značaja onoga što u njegovim knjigama možemo naći. Kao što drevna nauka Sankye govori, istinito znanje tek ono znanje koje doživimo (imamo iskustvo), razumemo to iskustvo i još ga proverimo sa potvrđenim autoritetom ili drevnim tekstom. Upravo je ovo način kako je Jadranko dolazio do znanja koja su u njegovim knjigama iznesena, sve što je napisao je prvo iskusio, razumeo to iskustvo pa proverio sa autoritetima ili u drevnim spisima. Sada je to znanje dostupno i svima nama i mi ćemo mu zbog toga biti večno zahvalni.

Sve su ovo razlozi da budemo srećni što možemo njegovu knjigu da objavimo na srpskom jeziku i da je imamo u dovoljnom broju primeraka da može da dođe do svakog ko je zainteresovan da učini nešto za sebe, unapredi svoj život ili krene putem ličnog i duhovnog razvoja ka višim dimenzijama svesnosti.

U knjizi Joga za zdravlje i lepotu – Asana i Pranajama, autor iznosi drevna znanja o značaju zdravlja za čoveka, objašnjava šta je to zdravlje i daje osnovne tehnike joga položaja (Asana) i joga disanja (Pranayama) koje, ako se ispravno primenjuju, dovode do optimalnog nivoa zdravlja tela, duha i duše koje svaki čovek želi.

U prvom delu knjige posvećenoj Joga položajima naročito je značajno što autor daje pregled osnovnih načela izvođenja joga položaja kroz koja se vidi da joga položaji nisu i ne predstavljaju samo fizičke vežbe već jednu mnogo dublju dimenziju rada na svim nivoima bića. Takođe, detaljno su opisana i prikazana tri serijala povezanih joga položaja koje mogu primenjivati praktičari na svim nivoima, od početnika do naprednih praktikanata.

Drugi deo knjige je posvećen Pranajami, tehnikama kontrole Prane (vitalne energije), koja se prevodi i kao Joga disanje jer je dah osnovni kanal pomoću kojih se praktikuju ove tehnike. Pored objašnjenja kundalini energije i pet prana (prana, apana, samana, udana i vjana) autor takođe navodi značajan segment za izvođenje ovih tehnika, a to su načela ispravne vežbe joga disanja. Ova načela do detalja opisuju način funkcionisanja i elemente potrebne za napredak u tehnikama Pranajame.

U trećem delu, Jadranko se osvrnuo i na Ajurvedski učinak joga položaja i joga disanja, kao i na naučna istraživanja koja potvrđuju značaj joga položaja i joga disanja za zdravlje čoveka i njihov uticaj na sve nivoe bića.

Na kraju knige možemo naučiti i osnovne sanskritske pojmove koji se pominju u ovoj knjizi, kao i osnovne informacije o velikim joga učiteljima kod kojih je Jadranko učio ili koji su mu bili celoživotna inspiracija.

Ovim putem se zahvaljujem Yogacharyi Jadranku Miklecu na knjigama koje je napisao i koje će još napisati, na vremenu izdvojenom da nas podučava i prenosi svoja znanja i iskustva i želim da njegove reči (bilo pisane ili izgovorene) dopru do što više ljudi i inspirišu ih da krenu putem razvoja ka višim nivoima svesti.
